Since Pokemon world doesn't have any public transportation everybody walks on feet. Don't You think those journeys could get a little boring, If You actually had to walk for hours and hours passing just bunch of grass, and poles, and maybe some random people?
Most likely, yes, so she came up with those lame word games to amuse herself. ...And annoy Carmelia a bit. :'D
But don't get me wrong, Carmelia really likes her, they just... arrgue a lot because of crushial differences in personalities They make quite a pair :'D
